Use this guide when you want ChatGPT to call FITsociety MCP tools in ChatGPT workflows that support custom MCP apps/connectors.

Availability

ChatGPT MCP access depends on your plan, region, and workspace settings. If you do not see custom apps or connector settings, ask the workspace admin to enable custom MCP apps/connectors.

Add the connector

In ChatGPT:
  1. Open workspace or app settings for apps/connectors.
  2. Create a custom app or connector.
  3. Use the FITsociety MCP server URL:
  4. Save the connector and start the authorization flow.

Authentication

Use OAuth for ChatGPT. FITsociety redirects the signed-in approver to the matching consent flow where they approve:
  • the grant subject, either company/coach access or client AI access
  • allowed modules
  • optional write tools
  • health data consent when needed
  • private communication consent when needed
After approval, ChatGPT receives an OAuth token pair and can call only the tools allowed by that grant.

Only enable write tools after the read-only connection is working.
