Use this guide when you want Cursor to use FITsociety MCP tools during agentic development or support workflows.

Project configuration

Create or update:

.cursor/mcp.json

Add:

Use project configuration when only this repository should have access to the FITsociety MCP server.

Global configuration

For user-wide access, use:

~/.cursor/mcp.json

with the same mcpServers entry.

Authentication

If Cursor starts the OAuth flow, approve the connection in FITsociety. If you use a static company MCP API key, configure it as a bearer header in Cursor’s MCP settings. Keep the key out of the repository. A typical header is:

Verify

Open Cursor’s MCP tools view and confirm that fitsociety is connected. Then ask the agent:
